This privacy policy describes how SYNLINK handles information for PocketGLP on iOS and Android, as the app works today.
Data we collect
SYNLINK receives no health data from PocketGLP. The app does not send your shot log, weight, symptoms, or medication profile to any servers.
Storage
Your data is stored on your device, in your pocket. The widget may show a local summary on the same device.
Data retention and deletion policy
We do not store and do not retain user data on any server. PocketGLP has no account: there is no copy of your journal on our side. Your data is retained only on your device, for as long as you keep the app and those entries. You can delete entries in the app at any time. Uninstalling PocketGLP deletes the on-device data. We have no backup and cannot restore it. Files you export or share then follow that destination's data retention rules. Data you choose to keep in Apple Health or Health Connect stays under Apple's or Android's control. If you email support, we keep that message only to answer you; do not send health data by email.
Account
PocketGLP does not use a user account. No sign-up and no online identity are required for core features.
Advertising and analytics
No ad networks and no third-party analytics services.
Apple Health
The Health link is optional. If you enable it, iOS controls permissions. PocketGLP may read or write weight (and activity depending on app options) only under those permissions. You can revoke access in iOS Settings at any time. Manual tracking still works without it.
Health Connect
The Health Connect link is optional. If you enable it, Android controls permissions. PocketGLP can then read weight, steps, and exercise sessions, and write a weight you just saved. Import never overwrites an existing day. Export never bulk-uploads history. You can use every local feature if you refuse Health Connect. Uninstalling the app deletes the local data.
Export
Exports (JSON, CSV, PDF) are started by you via the system share sheet. Once a file is shared to another app or service, that destination controls it, outside our control.
Stores
PocketGLP is the listing name on the App Store and on Google Play. Same tracker, data on the device, no server.
Future features
If paid features with real cost (for example AI) ship later, they will be documented here before enablement. No retroactive change to this policy without updating the date above.
Children
PocketGLP is not intended for children. Follow the App Store or Google Play minimum age for your region.
Store privacy labels
Data not collected by our servers. Health: linked only if you enable Apple Health or Health Connect (managed by the phone). See the App Store privacy labels and Google Play Data safety.
